  1. Such a great film depicting the acting skills of Elvis
Elvis made this western as well as "Charro"
Thus film had many great actors to support Elvis as he learnt his trade as an actor and singer
    Trivia about this movie
1- This film was based on the novel
"Flaming Lance" by Clair Huffaker that was published in 1958 .
    ......
2- The original name for this film was going to be called "Black Star" that Elvis recorded using the same lyrics and music. This version was unreleased until 1991- till it came out on the 3Lp set called "Collectors Gold"
    .......
3- The actor Robert Wagner was originally offered the role of Glen Burton but he turned out down and the role was then offered to Steve Forrest
    ......
4- The song "Summer Kisses Winter Tears " a song recorded by Elvis that was meant for this movie- but this was cut from the movie after an invited batch of fans laughed at the scene when it was previewed to them before the final edit of the movie

The scene that was cut showed Elvis singing this around a campfire along with a chief Indian playing war drums

This surfaced in a cd from Germany
entitled Double Features with this film soundtrack on it
    .....
    Enjoy
